Differentiating Sounds
 

Some other examples of words are given below for learning the differences of sounds between various vowels. It is well to remember that phonetic accuracy is essential in spoken and written Kashmiri because the gender and number of words is often given by the phonetic endings and inflections. Practise listening carefully to spoken Kashmiri, preferably on a tape recorder. See the examples given below carefully.
