The Vowels
 

There is a possibility that you confuse the symbol used for this vowel with those used for the first two. Yet, this one has a sound that is distinctive, and the vowel wears a "hat" (a circumflex) to make it unmistakable.

This vowel has the same sound as the letter E in the English word WRECK. Here are some Kashmiri words that use this sound:
